**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing construction equipment and HGV machinery.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on construction equipment and HGV machinery

• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures

• Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in mechanical fitting

• Work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of tasks and projects

**Requirements:**

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical fitting or a related field

• Strong understanding of construction equipment and HGV machinery

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

**What We Offer:**
