Cell Leader

Tridonic, the Zumtobel Group's technology company, is a leading global player in the field of lighting technology that produces innovative hardware and software for smart and connected lighting systems.

**The role**

Tridonic are now recruiting for a Cell Leader at our site in Spennymoor to run the Cell and achieve hourly targets, provide production, quality and maintenance support to the assigned process line.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Achieve the hourly targets.
- Ensure the End of Line process is always running.
- Carry out 6S Audit and make improvements.
- Report major machine breakdowns.
- Assist in procuring materials to prevent a line-stop.
- Ensure operators understand & achieve production demands using correct procedures.
- Promote & exercise high standards of HS&E awareness at all times.
- Conduct effective handover from / to next shift.

**Your profile**
- Educated to GCSE grade A-C / equivalent.
- A mechanical and/or electrical engineering qualification would be an advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills are essential.
- The ability to understand quality and engineering processes is also beneficial.

In this role, we are ideally looking for a college leaver, interested in developing into leadership role. With our support, you will learn all there is to know about Operations, Lean Manufacturing, Leadership, Stores and the use of an FLT.
