**Location**:Northallerton - Hybrid (currently the team work together at County Hall on a Tuesday and Wednesday)

**Who we are**

We are a busy front facing team based at County Hall in Northallerton (every Tuesday and Wednesday) but work in a hybrid way with opportunities to also work from home and/or other council offices as appropriate. The ability to travel across the county to deliver our service when required is however essential.

**And this is where you come in.**

We have lots of do to shape our new organisation, such as project work, TUPE, Restructures, Policies and Transformation leading up to and beyond April 2023, and this fantastic opportunity allows you to showcase your skills and be part of developing our new culture.

Our entry level HR Adviser role is varied, challenging and rewarding giving you a great base to start your HR career or further develop your existing HR skills within a fast paced but highly supportive team.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide advice and guidance on a range of employment related issues, terms and conditions, policies and procedure
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with managers, staff, stakeholders (in and outside of NYCC) and HR colleagues to ensure service delivery
- Use systems to manage and progress enquiries & case work, produce documents, record information, analyse and report on relevant data and to maintain effective communication
- Supporting on a range of HR Projects as appropriate with support from relevant HR colleagues
