RSL is a supported accommodation provider for local authority care leavers between the ages of sixteen and eighteen.

We are looking for a Support and Development Worker with a passion for enabling, developing and promoting independence.

It is essential that the applicant holds a minimum of a NVQ level 3 in Children and Young People or Health and Social Care or is wiling to work towards this, this will be funded by the Company.

The applicant must have previous or similar experience supporting people within this setting.

Applicants must possess robust, resilient and reliable characteristics, be highly motivated, be able to follow direction whilst using initiative and enthusiastic with a good level of flexibility.

We are looking do an applicant that has the ability to cope with and remain calm in challenging and demanding situations.

Excellent communication, organisational skills and report writing skills are essential. Previous experience of lone working is also essential.

Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure.

This post is most suited to applicants wanting to continually develop within the Company.

Please note that **it is essential that applicants are able to commit to at least two consecutive sleep-in shifts from Thursday to Monday either weekly or every other weekend.**

**Option 1 - This shift pattern would be weekly.**

**Thursday 10am to Saturday 12pm (Midday) including sleep - ins or**:
**Saturday 11am to Monday 12pm (Midday) including sleep - ins**

**Option 2 - This shift pattern would be every other weekend - 4 days on, 9 days off.**

**Thursday 10am to Monday 12pm (Midday) including sleep - ins.**

Sleep in allowance is paid.

**Our organisation does not offer Visa sponsorship.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 29 per week

**Salary**: £22,064.00-£23,632.00 per year
