**Artistic Assistant**

**About the role**

The Artistic Assistant provides a high level of personal assistance to the Artistic Director and administrative support to the Ballet Futures Team. The role entails balancing priorities between various workstreams.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the Artistic Director’s diary, scheduling meetings and other appointments, ensuring optimal use of time and meeting of deadlines.
- Provide an effective service to the Artistic Director based on a good understanding of the demands of all teams across the organisation.
- Work to understand key priorities, procedures, systems, and cycles in order to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
- Co-ordinate and minute weekly Artistic Team Meetings, distributing agenda and notes with actions.
- Provide general administrative support to the Ballet Futures Team.
- Being a welcoming ambassador for the Executive Office and the wider Company.

**Key Selection Criteria**
- Experience of diary management, supporting executives and senior management colleagues, and working with internal and external client groups.
- Ability to work well in a pressured environment, managing a varied workload while being able to focus on priorities.
- Ability and commitment to deliver a high standard of work.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to match communication styles to varying audiences with sensitivity.
- Highly proficient Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel user).
- Commitment to managing own learning and continuous professional development relevant to the role.
