Optimus Medical are a specialist medical company based in Retford since 2011.

We're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join our clinical team in giving great support to customers using our medical devices in NHS and private hospitals around the country. This is an opportunity to join a small but perfectly formed company where people come first and each employee is a big cog in a small machine, rather than an invisible minion in a huge corporation.

This is full-time nationwide field role with lots of travel involved so you’ll need a full clean UK driving licence. You'll be visiting hospitals on a daily basis and working in operating theatres helping physicians and theatre teams to use our products. You'll also be providing training to new theatre staff, and onboarding new hospital sites from time to time.

This is not a sales position and you will not be selling to prospective customers, however you will be involved in introducing your existing customers to new products from time to time.

Previous clinical experience or a medical background is desirable but is not essential, as we provide a comprehensive training package. We're far more interested in your personality, your drive and your enthusiasm. We like people to think for themselves so although you'll formally report into our Clinical Manager, your character and willingness to learn will mean you'll be quickly working independently.
