**Role Summary**: Join our expanding team as a Consultant in Planning (Real Estate) and contribute to driving economic, social, and environmental outcomes. This role, within our Planning & Local Needs division, focuses on advising real estate sector clients through the planning process, integrating Social Value into their strategies. With Social Value becoming a pivotal part of planning, we're at the forefront, working with developers and supporting local authorities to revolutionise planning policies to include Social Value requirements.
**As our Consultant in Planning (Real Estate) you will be responsible for**:
- Writing and presenting local needs analyses, including geospatial mapping and data analysis.
- Developing place-based Social Value strategies and carrying out community consultations.
- Project management and liaising with other consultants, presenting at meetings, and working with design teams.
**What we need from you**:
- As our new Consultant in Planning (Real Estate) you will have a deep understanding of and passion for social value, sustainability, and local engagement.
- Work experience in planning or the built environment sector.
- Strong project management and client handling skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience working directly with a range of external stakeholders and building long-term relationships
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with confidence to deliver presentations and workshops
- Analytical abilities, and computer literacy, including MS Office and Geospatial mapping (QGIS or ArcGIS).
