**NSCT Support Pay Point 29-31-**

**£31,393.17-£33,077.03 gross per annum**

About the role
- To Improve attendance in all our schools.
- To improve our persistent absence issues and data
- To ensure all children are always safeguarded through attendance at school.
- Support the safeguarding team and the school DSL with safeguarding issues linked to attendance.
- To contribute to raising achievement by improving school attendance
- To provide a specialist service to assist the Trust in meeting their obligations and targets in

relation to school attendance, especially persistent absence.
- To promote positive attitudes by students and families towards education and to ensure that

parents are made fully aware of their statutory responsibilities.
- To identify students with attendance concerns, complete early intervention work and escalate

significant concerns to the Trust’s Education Welfare Officer
- To the Trust’s Education Welfare Officer in developing a professional service to support the school

in raising attendance, investigating persistent absences and improving punctuality.
- To liaise with all school staff with responsibility for attendance as well as the Trust’s Education

Welfare Officer
- To attend the Safeguarding management meeting and provide and record updates.
- To provide Admin support to the safeguarding officers

The ideal applicant will have
- Experience of working in a busy school or college environment.
- A real passion for working within an education environment.
- Experience utilising SIMS (School Information Management System) within an administrative role.
