Sellindge Surgery is a small, busy, rural GP practice looking for a part time receptionist to join our friendly team.

The position is for 18 hours per week:
Tuesday 0800-1400 Wednesday 0800-1400 Friday 1230-1830

Annual leave and sickness cover may been required.

**The purpose of the role is to**:

- Offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
- Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
- Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice including the provision of administrative support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team.
- Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies.

**Overview of your organisation**:
Sellindge Surgery is a village practice with two GP partners supported by a team to deliver services to our 5,000 patients from the village and surrounding areas.

We have a small friendly reception team and a dispensary on site.

The surgery also has physiotherapists, midwife and social prescribers from the primary care network offering clinics at the surgery for our registered patients.

A successful ear, nose and throat clinic runs from the surgery offering a service to patients from the Kent & Medway ICB area.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 18 per week

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
