Business Architect

3 days in the office

Due to an exciting period of growth and transformation, we are looking for an experienced Principal Business Architect to lead the business architect function and define implementation strategy, working practices and processes for the team.

As a key part of the Change Management department, you will create the alignment between the business and change management and define the delivery roadmap, developing an integrated view of strategy

The position is broad, working with multiple divisions and departments and will include:

- Manage and lead the Business Architecture team on a day-to-day basis, setting clear objectives and goals
- Ownership for the Business Architecture framework and contribution to the continued establishment of it
- Act as an SME representative of both the business and IT and Change throughout the process and facilitate the delivery, communication and decision making to ensure the customer outcome is delivered to scope and the correct solution
- Liaise with business contacts to gain an in depth understanding of business architecture and outcomes
- Ownership and documentation of the High Level Requirements process
- Build and maintain relationships with key business sponsors (including at Exec Level) to facilitate and drive open and transparent communication between IT, change and the business to enable the delivery roadmap
- Act as an SME to efficiently contribute to the flow of change throughout the department -facilitating fast and effective decision making to move a project or change forward
- Support the establishment and continued alignment of the group's strategy and overall delivery roadmap
- Contribution to the IT roadmap, using knowledge of business and IT initiatives to identify and progress synergies and quick wins

You will come from Senior Business Architect position, ideally within financial services, and have strong experience in this area. You will have a proven track record and experience of other Business Architecture areas including business and technology strategies,operating models, process models and business and technology models

Ideally you will hold BCS Architecture Certification or equivalent industry recognised Business Architecture qualification
