**About The Role**:
We are looking for an organised, conscientious and approachable Compliance Support Officer to work alongside our experts providing support, administration, advice and accountability for adherence.

We do not expect you to be a compliance expert, but hope that you will have an excited interest for the area of compliance and will have a keenness to learn and develop yourself. This may be your first role in compliance, having other similar or adjacent experience.

Mayden’s flagship patient management system, iaptus, is used by more than 200 mental health services in the UK, Australia and Canada. We are passionate about delivering impactful healthcare software and we are proud to hold ourselves to the highest standards in regards to compliance and regulation. You will play a key role in ensuring that the delivery of our products and services meets those standards and will also work to respond proactively to new and evolving expectations.

This role will initially be focused on providing compliance support in key business areas. In the first instance alongside our product team for clinical safety and copyright law, and for company requirements for Environmental, Social and Governance standards. There will be scope to expand into other compliance areas as required. Initially it would be expected that this role works with our Information Compliance Lead but ultimately sits close to the product team and our sustainability working group experts on a day to day basis.

We use the Scrum framework to drive product delivery, quality and success, so an appreciation of agile working is beneficial.

**Compliance Support Officer** - **Key responsibilities**:

- Work with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with the relevant requirements of clinical safety, copyright and Environmental, Social and Governance and any other areas as required.
- Ensure accurate records are kept and maintain documentation across our compliance estate including the management of copyright licences, version control of clinical safety documentation, collating and filing of supporting documentation and evidence, policies, regulatory documents etc.
- Manage key relationships with compliance and regulatory stakeholders e.g. NHS England National Clinical Content Repository (Copyright Licensing Service)
- File compliance documentation with the relevant regulatory bodies as required
- Attend external webinars, training and meetings in compliance areas and bring new knowledge and information back to inform business activities
- Arrange internal compliance training as required
- Be a point of contact for customers and external stakeholders providing excellent service with guidance from other staff in the organisation
- Support the Information Compliance lead with compliance requirements as needed
- Contribute to the reporting to the Board for referencing and monitoring
- Any associated activities that may be required by the Directors, Information Compliance Lead or product team.

**Compliance Support Officer** - Skills and Experience**:

- Not intimidated by complex technical information, such as legislation and technical product information, and can understand and work with them
- A good communicator in both written and verbal formats
- Able to build positive and productive relationships with stakeholders
- Willing to learn about the requirements of ISO standards (and other regulations) or have some experience of them already e.g. ISO 14001, DCB 0129 etc
- Excited to work with different teams and individuals within the business to achieve common goals
- Able to work at pace and to deadlines across multiple projects and compliance areas
- Digitally confident and willing to work with Apple hardware and Google software.
