**About Our Client**:
This Permanent and flexible working Accounts Assistant role is to be based within this great international Education and training services provider to the public sector based in Potters Bar. With a supportive management team in place they are looking for an individual with prior AR/ Sales Ledger/ Billing based finance experience whose keen to learn and be involved in a company really adding value to the UK.

Accounts Assistant duties and responsibilities;
- Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries from key Public sector, Education and training customers
- Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Working with spreadsheets and sales ledger.
- Recording and filing cash transactions.
- Controlling credit
- Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
- Bank and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.

**The Successful Applicant**:
Experience, characteristics and attributes for the right Accounts Assistant;
- Prior Accounts or finance experience ideally in an AR/ Sales ledger or credit based team
- Ability to work as part of a team and town your own ledger/accounts
- Analytical thinker and problem solver.
- Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software eg Excel.
- High level of accuracy.
- Extremely organised
- Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
