The Purchasing Role is responsible for procuring materials, components, equipment, and services required for all business operations. This role involves sourcing from suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of purchased goods and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Generate purchase orders and manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials, components, and supplies, and coordinate with production planning to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, production, and quality, to determine specifications and requirements for purchased goods and services.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.

Work Environment:

- Casual Office environment with very occasional visits to manufacturing facilities and supplier locations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and interface with internal and external stakeholders.
- Occasional travel may be required to attend supplier meetings, trade shows, or industry events.

Experience with purchasing prefered

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
