**JOB TITLE **- Receptionist

**LOCATION **- Delta Park, Fareham

**WORKING HOURS **- Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 12:30 (20 working hours/week)

We have an exciting opportunity for an efficient and professional receptionist to join us here at CooperVision to provide exceptional front of house reception service to employees, workers and visitors, as well as administration support where required.

**What will you be doing:
Essential functions and accountabilities include:

- Meet and greet the business’s clients and staff, being attentive and welcoming to visitors at all times.
- Answer calls efficiently, politely, and in a professional manner. Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required.
- Screen telephone calls and appropriately announcing calls _prior _to transferring to members of staff.
- Keep the reception area clean and tidy at all times.
- Provide general administrative support to Departments within Delta Park as and when required.
- Receive and sort mail and deliveries, as well as managing the collection point for outgoing mail for Delta Park
- Provide assistance with meeting room bookings, taxi bookings and arranging catering requirements. Maintain a log for all lunches/refreshments ordered.
- Maintain security procedures by monitoring visitors’ logbook records and issuing visitor passes. Responsibility for roll call of visitors during evacuations
- Responsible for organising consignments via courier agents (e.g. ICR)
- Responsible for locking/securing entrance doors at start and close of business.
- Removing out-of-date posters from poster boards in Delta Park building (all floors).
- Managing appointments for visits between employees and on-site optician. Assisting on-site optician with queries.

We are looking for someone who possesses first class customer service skills (in keeping with a global organisation) that presents themselves in a polite, friendly, and approachable manner. Other knowledge, skills and abilities essential to excel in this role include:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A confident individual with good telephone communication skills
- Strong efficiency and punctuality
- A sound working knowledge of MS Office
- General office and administration skills
