**Weekly Hours**: Full time, 37 per week Monday - Friday
**Salary**:£ 34,500
**_Job Purpose_**
The Advisor role is a pivotal role within our structure. You will primarily provide employee relations support to managers. In addition, you will work with others across the business on people related projects, regularly review metrics and implement ideas to improve them.
**_Responsibilities_**
- Enable business change by offering consultancy services on change management TUPE, redundancy and restructures.
- Provide an advisory service across a wide range of employee relations cases; short-term and long-term absence, capability, disciplinaries and grievances.
- Coach managers throughout the whole ER process to ensure compliance, thoroughness, transparency and fairness.
- Guide managers so they are able to carry out thorough investigations and write comprehensive reports. Coach them on the best course of action when initial allegations arise.
- Build rapport and trusted relationships with the leaders of your business areas. Develop a strong understanding of the operational demands and challenges.
- Upskill managers and coach them to take ownership of people related issues. Work with them to improve our organisational culture, employee journey and employer brand.
- Advise on the implications of employment legislative changes and case law development and ensure that our policies and documentation comply.
- Provide cover for absences within the HR team. as and when required.
- Lead or participate in cross group projects which help us achieve our corporate and HR strategies.
- Associate CIPD Membership - Level 5
- Proven track record of delivering the full range of human resources services within a customer focused environment, with demonstrable employee relations experience
- Accustomed to producing and interpreting human resource related reports
- Effective communication skills and able to communicate effectively to a wide range of customers both internally and externally on human resources related matters
- Full UK driving licence to enable you to travel across areas where required
