Working Hours - 37 hours (consideration will be given to job sharing / reduced hours in line with our flexible working policy)

Sport Wales is the national organisation responsible for developing and promoting sport and physical activity in Wales. We are the main adviser on sporting matters to the Welsh Government and are responsible for distributing National Lottery funds. We aim to not only improve the level of sports participation at grassroots level but also provide our aspiring athletes with the support required to compete successfully on the world stage.

**_HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE_**
This role is a key opportunity to develop a research and insight career within the sport sector and beyond.
You will be a member of the Insight, Policy and Public Affairs team, focused on understanding the way insight and research in sport can drive outcomes across a range of portfolios, such as health and education.
In addition to supporting Sport Wales’s flagship programs, including the School Sport Survey, and Communications, Learning and Insight Programme, the post holder will be focused on working with a range of Sport Wales partners. You will help support the insight, data and evidence needs of the sector, working to identify where they need support, acting as a conduit between Sport Wales and the sector and promoting new and emerging evidence.
**_WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH_**
As a member of the Insight, Policy, and Public Affairs you will work right across the Sport Wales organisation to understand the emerging research, learning and evidence emanating from Sport Wales insight, investments, programmes, and partners.
This role will give you the opportunity to network across Sport Wales and the sport sector, gain significant experience in insight and research development, and develop the skills for a career in several policy areas.
You will work with supportive insight and policy colleagues to enhance your personal and professional development.
