**The Opportunity: Teaching Assistant**

A wonderful primary school based near the vibrant Stoke Newington area of Hackney, East London

Full-time role (Monday to Friday), term time only until July 2024 (possibility of being extended in to the next academic year).

Work with an experienced and respected teacher who will mentor and guide you.

As their Teaching Assistant you will support a Year 6 boy with Autism. He can be anxious with no severe behavioural issues - this is more of a role to help with emotional regulation and encourage participation

Perfect for aspiring teachers and psychologists alike - develop your practical understanding of how children learn and the strategies that come with that.

London overground stations close by as well as plenty of buses that connect to them to neighbouring boroughs

**The successful Teaching Assistant must**:
Be confident, adaptable with lots of enthusiasm to get the best out of the pupil.

Be confident in core areas of the curriculum such as Literacy and Numeracy.

Be a degree holder.

Be able to work effectively as part of a large team.

Have strong communication skills.

Be able to inspire and motivate children in the classroom
