Premier Work Support have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for a permanent **Internal** **Sales **position for one of our prestigious clients based in Egham.

The purpose of this role will be to provide to support the Branch Managers to ensure they have maximum selling time, facilitating profitability and volume growth. You will also be managing your own portfolio.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities consist of**:

- Preparing quotations and contracts for potential customers.
- Quote follow up.
- Lead generation.
- Responsible for your own portfolio of customers.
- Conducting credit checks and assist with uploading rates into rate calculator.
- Provide any necessary data or reports to the sales team and other internal stakeholders.
- Arranges appointments with clients and sales team by diary management if required.
- Updates all contact information for clients.
- Deal with any customer complaints and resolve the issues as necessary.
- Complete any required administrative work including filing reports or presenting sales team with data as required.
- The role will be primarily be office based but there may be a requirement to visit customers and to own the growth of certain business accounts.
- Develops new skills and modifies behaviours based on feedback, being adaptive and learning.
- Takes personal responsibility for career and development.

**Skills and Experience required**:

- Ideally 2-3 years minimum in the shipping, freight forwarding and logistics industry.
- Operational knowledge of Air and/or Ocean freight is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Self-starter who thrives under pressure.
- Good computer skills especially using Microsoft office suite.

Depending on experience, the salary ranges from £25,000 to £30,000 per annum - commission is payable after cost at 5%
Hours for this role are Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30
