**THE ROLE.**

MJS timber frame system are looking for 1st fix carpenter to join a team erecting timber frame roof structures around the uk.

**JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- To assist in erection of spandrel walls and roof cassettes.
- To work with the Carpenters cutting and fitting off ceiling joist.
- To install roof System fittings to standard detail.
- Measure gable ladders too the desired size to the drawing.
- Fit plastics to gable ladders.
- To assist capenters fitting fascia and soffit.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS.**
- Knowledge of building techniques
- Experience in timber framing
- Experience in using a nail gun and circular saw
- carpentry skills
- Knowledge of health and safety
- Knowledge of manual handling and safe working practices
- A positive attitude to working and an ability to remain calm under pressure
- Able to work to schedule

**DESIRABLE SKILLS**
- crane supervisor ticket
- slinger/slinger ticket
- cscs card
- driving license

**Salary**: £120.00-£180.00 per day

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Joinery: 3 years (preferred)
- Carpentry: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS Skilled Worker (preferred)
- level 2 carpentry and joiner (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
