You will attend off the job training at Webs Training Ltd based in Beeston, Nottingham either on a Day Release or Block Release system, who will support, train and guide you through the apprenticeship standard in General Furniture Manufacturing Standard at Level 2.

You will learn practical skills and techniques to produce different types of components using a range of processes and woodworking machinery.

Duties will include:

- Reading and interpreting job specifications and technical drawings
- Optimisation of materials for most cost-efficient use
- Selection of materials to produce components
- Identification of different types of timbers and manufactured boards
- Safety setting, operating a maintaining a variety of wood machines including CNC, Boring, Sanding and Edge banding
- Hand assembly of components using a range of traditional hand tools
- Quality assurance of all tasks undertaken
- Safe handling and storage of finished products including effective and accurate wrapping and packing for transportation
- Full compliance with current Health and Safety legislation
- Assisting in unloading and loading vehicles

Working within a Team as well as having the ability to work alone and use own initiative

**Salary**: £11,000.00 per year
