Minstead Trust, a leading learning disabilities charity based in the heart of the beautiful New Forest, is offering the opportunity for a Fundraising Assistant to join its growing Development Team.

The Trust is now embarking on an exciting new five year strategy aimed at going beyond typical support, delivering exceptional care with a focus on inspiring and influencing the community, further breaking down stigma and empowering those we support to reach their full potential.

To be our new Fundraising Assistant, you will be an energetic self-starter who is passionate about charity fundraising and marketing. You will be able to positively engage with the community to raise funds for some of the most vulnerable people in society. You’ll be excellent at communication and administration, able to assist in the planning and implementation of a range of fundraising campaigns.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To develop great working relationships with all external stakeholders
- To support the implementation of the Trust’s individual giving products including raffles, auctions and sponsorships
- To assist the marketing team and work to the social media content calendar to engage key audiences and promote our events
- To create content for a variety of audiences and platforms to support fundraising aims
- To be responsible for fundraising administration, documenting grant and trust records, preparing letters and feedback reports

**Personal Specification**

Essential:

- Minimum of one year marketing or fundraising experience or relevant degree
- Commitment to building skills in charity fundraising and marketing
- Attention to detail and confident writing skills
- Computer literate - Word, Excel, Publisher
- Digital marketing skills

Desirable:

- Video shooting and editing.
- Experience of working within a charity

**Due to the nature of this role, a full, valid driving licence is required.**

**All staff working for, or on behalf of Minstead Trust, understand their responsibilities in relation to safeguarding adults at risk and know who to escalate concerns to within Minstead Trust.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
