**Role**:Assistant Buyer

**Rate of Pay**:£25.00 per hour (using an Umbrella Company)

**Working Pattern**:Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am - 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)

**Length of Contract**:Until 26/08/2023

An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Buyer has arisen to join the team based onsite at Broughton.

**Responsibilities Include**:
Support the buyer in administrative tasks as:

- Manage demands from internal customers and allocate them to relevant stakeholders.
- Correct data in IT system or transfer the action to relevant internal stakeholder.
- Monitor recovery plans to manage shortages with suppliers, making the interface with the different internal stakeholders.
- Support change process of Supply Chain Consumable project
- Work as part of the Multifunctional/Multidivisional teams all along the tendering contracting and contract life cycle phases.

- Individual must be results and delivery driven with a sound logical approach to achieving tasks and objectives
- Must be an organized person to keep on top of all changes
- Able to work on own initiative to develop effective solutions to problems
- Have good interpersonal skills to work well with others, as well as being able to motivate and encourage both individuals and a team
