The project co-ordinator’s main purpose is to provide a support function to the Engineering and Operations team.

Main responsibilities
- Provide a consistent and controlled method for administration tasks within the account or project team as required.
- Become an integral part of the Industrial team environment and Customer drive value set.
- Identify problematic interface issues between Project and supporting Departments which could affect project deliverables and instigate/recommend recovery actions.
- Identify and drive project team focus towards critical activities - Monitor all components and assembled deliverables for the Project and verify that all items are delivered as per agreement.
- Organise/participate in internal project team meetings and supporting Departments and monitor all internal material flow and coordination aspects.
- Co-ordinate shipping and logistics as and when required, taking full ownership of final delivery to client, verifying that all procedural and documentation requirements have been satisfied.
- Supporting functions for Projects
- Liaise with and assist in expediting all aspects of the supply chain processes, ensuring that materials are procured and delivered to meet project requirements.
- Monitor overdue purchase orders placement and assist in expediting through Procurement.
- Monitor the conversion of purchase requisitions to Purchase Orders and ensure that they are expedited as required and in line with the project plan.
- Issue project specific material status and exception reports.
- Preparation of reports concerning the progress and status of all Project documentation
- Preparation of document registers and project specific procedures
- Provide support to the project with respect to documentation deliverables during project execution and assist the project engineer in monitoring the progress of final documentation in accordance with Life Cycle information requirements
- Provide effective support and co-ordination of project activities & interfaces supporting the Account Management Team or Project Team, with the aim of maximising project efficiency & interface management from Tender acceptance through to final delivery to the Client and project close out.
