**Position**:Stalking Intervention Victim Coordinator

**Reports to**:Integrated Support Service (ISS) Lead

**Hours**: 22.5 hours per week

**Location**: Countywide - Virtual home working with frequent countywide travel

**Salary**: £25,155 per annum pro rata

**Contract**: 18 months fixed term (with a possibility of extension)

**Essential**:A **minimum** of 5 years’ experience of working with domestic abuse victims/survivors at various risk levels

The Stalking Intervention Victim Coordinator (SIVC) will;
- Be the liaison between the Stalking Intervention Practitioners (SIP) and the Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworkers (ISAC) across the county
- Attend multi-agency meetings with regards to representing the Change Project Stalking Intervention Service
- Build a strong working relationship with the victim services and ISACs across the county
- Intermittent co-location countywide within victim services
- Attend Case Management meetings and contribute to effective communication across the team.
- Be the conduit between the SIPs, Clinical/psychological therapy practitioners, Specialist Treatment management consultant and the ISACs/police. Providing pertinent information at Case Management.
- Attend the Essex Stalking Intervention Panel when required
- Promote the SIS and build relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders
- Encourage victim/survivor engagement. Carryout Severity of Abuse (SOA) evaluation at beginning, end and post 6 months of the service.
- If no ISAC provision, review progressand provide the Integrated Support Service
- Seek views of victim/survivor clients to develop service delivery.
- Review S-DASH assessments and safety planning on cases closed to ISAC, taking action where required
- Complete safeguarding referrals - including MARAC/Children’s Social Care (CSC)/Adults Social Care (ASC) as required, as part of a team response.
- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential records of all work undertaken on in-house data management system - Pandora
- Represent the Team/The Change Project (TCP) at key meetings and forums.
- Provide verbal/written reports to the Integrated Support Service Lead as required.
- Attend monthly Change Hub team meetings.
- Attend monthly Clinical Supervision and training as required.
- Any other duties as required by the Integrated Support Service Lead.

**Person Specification**

**Experience**
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience of working with victims/survivors of domestic abuse and violence.
- Experience of multi-agency work and building effective partner relationships
- Prioritising and managing own work load.
- Undertaking and reviewing risk assessments, including DASH/S-DASH.
- Safety planning

**Knowledge and Understanding**
- An excellent understanding of the causes and dynamics of domestic abuse, including the impact on victims/survivors and their children.
- Knowledge of safeguarding children and adults procedures.
- A sound awareness of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and legislative changes in this context.

**Skills and abilities**
- Impartial stance to enable negotiation and mediate between services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Teams.
- Ability to be self-motivated, work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Resilience under pressure and in time of crisis.
