**HR Advisor (Next Technology)**

We have an excellent opportunity to join our HR team as a HR Advisor within our expanding Technology function.

As a HR Advisor at Next you will support our growing Tech teamwho have over 1,500 colleagues based at our Head Office in Leicester and Yorkshire.

You will support the HR Business Partner to provide great HR support to the business.

Working closely with our Tech team to provide customer focused commercial, operational support to them and their teams. As part of this you will coach and up skill managers on all people related matters.

We are looking for someone who has worked ideally within a large similar organisation and has experience of employee relations, coaching and guiding managers with HRmatters.

You'll have a desire to provide a great service, have excellent communication and organisation skills and be data savvy

This role is hybrid with a combination of both office and remote working.

**About the role**:
You will provide advice and guidance to all levels of Managers, coach and guide them on HR matters and be involved in project work to support the HR tech team and wider HR function

Employee Relations
- Working closely with Managers at all levels to coach and support them on absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievance.
- Support Managers with managing short and long term absence
- Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of employment legislation.
- Ensure all exit interview data is reviewed and analysed and fed back to managers, capturing any trends and suggesting recommendations
- Keep Managers up-to-date on new employment legislation and issues, advising on applicability, implications for current HR policies and procedures and implementation of any changes.
- Keep abreast of good practice and developments in the field of HR and contribute to the development of the company policies and practices in line with these.

Project Work
- Work alongside the wider HR team on project focused work where appropriate
- Complete on project tasks in line with project plans and timelines
- Able to innovate and not afraid to try new things and help the team develop

new ideas on project initiatives

**About you**:

- Have or working towards CIPD or equivalent qualification is desirable
- Experience of working at an Advisory level within a head office function
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Employment Law.
- Excellent communication skills - influence at all levels
- Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality
- Good judgement & decision making skills
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn with a flexible mindset
- Willingness to ‘muck in’, assist as necessary and carry out routine tasks when required.
- Creative thinking to support developing and delivering on project based work
- Sharing best practices and insights/ trends from the external market
- Able to juggle both operational and project work
- Comfortable working with data
