Reporting directly to the Engineering manager you will be responsible for training and development staff and ensuring the smoothrunning of operations and the upkeep of plant. As an excellent maintenance supervisor must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. A knowledge of health and safety and the drive to engineer out faults.The Engineering Supervisor must have technical skillsand knowledge of at least one discipline, electrical or mechanical. Leadership and knowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling are also essential.
The goal is to ensure that operations are in a good order and safe condition at all times.
**Engineering Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities Include:**:

- Implementation of TPM and Autonomous maintenance
- Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work to engineers
- Assist recruitment, supervise and training of maintenance staff
- Control and supervision of contractors during planned maintenance tasks
- Inspect and maintain building facilities
- Contribute to cost savings and constant improvement
- Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
- Participate in co-ordinaton of projects
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Inspection of plant periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
- Be conversant with COSSH, LOLER, PUWER and other periodic statutory inspections

**Engineering Maintenance Supervisor Requirements:**:

- Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role
- Strong technical ability
- Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
- Understanding of industry best practices
- Excellent planning and leadership abilities
- Ability to fault find and engineer solutions
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Mechanical and/ or electrical qualifications
- Health and safety qualification, Nebosh or IOSH

Enva England is the East Midlands leading Recycling and Resource Management company collecting and processing in excess of 500,000 tonnes waste per year, providing a comprehensive waste collection and recycling service to Industrial, Commercial, Constructionand local Authority customers. We operate out of a 20 Acre site with in excess of 300 employees across our Nottingham and Leicester sites.

**Hours**: Full Time, 45 per week 0600-1530
**Salary**: £38,000 per annum plus overtime, bonus and competitive benefits
