**Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.**

Our client is the UK’s leading live events business operating in exhibitions, conferences, music, sports, family entertainment and hospitality.

They are looking for an experienced, vibrant, trustworthy, and genuine team member, who is an outstanding Head of Events that will continue to inspire the Event Management & Hosting teams to be the best in class. Having a vast array of technical competencies along with strong credible leadership whose team will deliver a consistently excellent experience to all, internally and externally. The portfolio of events that the teams will work on will be wide ranging from global congresses, televised events, corporate conferences, large scale exhibitions, and hybrid events to name but a few. Events are their passion, regardless of shape or size and their venues are simply first class, in a city without limits.

**What’s needed to succeed**:

- Demonstrable proven senior event management experience within the live events or conference industry
- Strong event or venue operational background, minimum 3 years of operational venue experience
- Previous demonstratable experience of leading and managing event management teams across sites
- Excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills
- Good understanding of corporate responsibilities and sustainability principles
- Exceptional customer relationship and focus
- Consistently strives for operational and financial efficiencies
- Diligent, organised, and able to prioritise effectively your own workload and administration.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Thrives on personal development individually and across the team
- Self motivated to create what's next and inspiring others to see possibilities
- Collaborative working with the venue teams and across the client's Group
- Strong Health and Safety management required, NEBOSH, NEBOSH Fire and Crowd Safety Management.
