**Material Expeditor - EMEA**

**Full Time**

**Hybrid working (Office based in Wokingham, Berkshire)**

**Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum**

Avia Technique, a growing aviation safety maintenance and repair centre in Wokingham, is looking for an experienced Expeditor to their growing Purchasing team. Working closely with the Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager, this role will work with multiple stakeholders to ensure continuous supply of goods into the manufacturing facility including the purchasing of goods, materials, and services to meet customer demand. You will communicate directly to suppliers, distributors and agents to ensure parts are delivered to maintain repair workshop TAT KPIs.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Focus on reducing cost/negotiating the best deal whilst improving quality and supply
- Ordering of materials / arranging timely delivery based on supply chain demands.
- Ensure that all procurement activity conforms to best practice and Company ethics, principles, and processes.
- Expedite material to meet agreed turnaround times across the EMEA region.
- Assessing the status of work in progress, material availability and any potential production problems.
- Ensuring feedback to key stake holders is maintained and any actual / forecasted arrears and orders are re-committed.
- Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiencies, add value, aid business performance and work towards strategy of continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Assist with searching and sourcing potential suppliers and vendors.
- Maintain critical lists across EMEA.
- Coordinate between vendors and our teams including other companies within our group.
- Timely Redistribution of ageing stock around other SK entities.
- Develop supplier score card and present results to management monthly.
- Identify excess inventory for package resale.

**Core Skills and Experience**:

- Educated to at least A-level; CIPS advantageous.
- Managing and monitoring forecasts
- Experience in aviation highly desirable
- Quantum experience desirable
- Fully conversant with MS Office software (e.g., complex Excel spreadsheets)
- Strong in continuous improvement methodologies
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, and communication skills to multiple levels of the organisation.
- Analytical, organized and numerically astute with strong proven problem-solving abilities
- Function well in a high paced demanding environment.
