An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Informatics Team as a Senior Implementation Coordinator on a fixed term basis.

Applicants should have an interest in digital healthcare innovation, developing skills in healthcare informatics and project management. The applicant should have excellent communication and negotiating skills to engage and support staff in adapting to significant change in the way they work.

The post holder will work as part of a dynamic and agile Digital Systems programme team. They will be accountable for delivering and implementing digital products and services as part of the Digital Transformation Programme which is in support of Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust’s Digital Strategy.

You will work as part of the IT Digital Systems Team to provide support to clinical and non-clinical colleagues for the preparation, implementation and delivery of new IT solutions and processes as well as upgrades to our current key systems. Supporting the Project Manager in leading and managing the project team. Deputising for the project manager as required.

Deployment Testing

Oversee the testing of new digital systems and upgrades to existing systems:
Write test plans and ensure test scripts adequately cover the service area and operational scenarios.

Lead rigorous and detailed testing, managing any issues identified with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers and seeing them through to resolution.

Write comprehensive Test Reports.

Lead end user test sessions - Identify relevant staff from service area to participate in testing. Manage issues/questions that arise from the business.

Obtain sign-off from key stakeholders to indicate acceptance of the configuration of the system through robust UAT testing.

Be a testing champion within the wider Digital team and advise on testing as required.

Project Management

Support the Project Manager with all aspects of the project from inception to completion in accordance with Prince2/ AGILE project methodologies as required.

Business Change

With expert knowledge and in-depth experience of trust-wide processes and policies ensure that all of the current and future state processes are documented, identifying any gaps in process and provide options for the gaps. Ensure all future state processes are complete and relevant and supported by standard operating procedures and business continuity plans. Work with the service stakeholders to ensure they understand each process and are aware of their responsibility to cascade the processes through the service area.
