We are currently recruiting for a Team leader at our site in Tillbrook to support and improve the Yusen operation for MEU-UK, controlling the operational process from end to end. Additional responsibilities as required by the needs of the contract. To provide operational support during periods of holiday, absence and high volumes, including back shift / early shift cover. Direct responsibility for the Returns Team.

**Salary**: £30,304.06 per annum, plus £2,000 per annum Team Leader allowance

**Shift Pattern**: 4-week Rotating Shift Pattern = 2x WEEKS 06:00-14:00 & 2x WEEKS 14:00-22:00.
- Develop a high performing Team through SMART objective setting, review and coaching
- Provide operational support for Operations Team as required
- Additional operational responsibilities as required by the needs of the contract.
- Process returns in line with SLA with customer
- Ensure all returns reports are published accurately and on time
- Contribute to customer operational review meetings.
- Ensure that all business communications are effectively managed and shared with the team as appropriate.
- Champion KAIZEN activities to identify and implement 5s principles and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identification, monitoring and reporting of cost saving initiatives and process improvements with Returns.
- Lead team to deliver all legislative and process requirements including Health and Safety and audit programmes.
- Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including ER procedures, such as absence and performance management, standards of behaviour, disciplinary, PDR etc, supporting with investigations and disciplinary hearings as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Good level of general education, including good understanding of both written and verbal English Literate and numerate.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations/ returns experience
- Knowledge / operational experience of WMi AS400
- Awareness of KAIZEN principles - Leadership / Management of direct reports
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Leadership / Management of direct report
- PC literate with intermediate knowledge of Excel, and user knowledge of word, access, windows and outlook
