Vangaroo t/a Sackville-West Moving & Storing Ltd are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to work at our Warehouses on the West Portway Industrial Estate in Andover. This is a dual role primarily in the warehouse, but there will be some requirements to make local pickups or deliveries, and act as a stand in driver for a delivery contract we have when required.

We move and store Antiques and Artwork so a careful, can-do attitude is essential, as well as being physically strong and fit as heavy lifting is required at times.

**The role**:

- Organising goods in and out of the warehouse
- Checking off collections & deliveries against paperwork/delivery notes
- Preparing, packing and labelling furniture, Artwork and Fragiles
- Managing stock of packaging materials
- Transport some products to and from local locations when required
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading of vehicles
- Checking in and out of items and maintaining the warehouse itinerary
- Audit of driver vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Keep the company vehicles clean and presentable
- Keep the warehouse organised and clean
- Follow all safety procedures and adhere to company policies
- Act as a stand in driver for a local delivery driver from time to time/holiday cover
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Some experience of working in a Warehouse environment
- A current UK Driving licence (maximum 6 points)
- A friendly and helpful attitude
- A willingness to bring new ideas and process improvements to the company

**Desired but not essential**:

- A current forklift licence (refresher or full training will be given if required)

**Experience**:

- Forklift Truck Driving: 1 year (preferred)
- working in a Warehouse Environment: 1 year (required)
