Engineering Project Manager

We are pleased to be assisting our valued client for a Engineering Project Manager, for a company offering long-term career prospects.
The role is to oversee and direct all design engineers, drafters and technical engineers working on specific projects. To manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex designs. Oversee Testing in order to ensure completion of projects asefficiently and effectively as possible. Evaluate and approve changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project.
Main Duties:
Develop the costing element within the Projects department.
Resolve escalated issues arising from operations/production requiring coordination with other departments.
Issuing validation and maintenance of the project equipment lists and or other key engineering documents as applicable to each project.
Effective interdisciplinary coordination in particular through weekly meetings and undertaking the necessary technical decisions in case of unresolved conflicts between disciplines.
Project planning definition organising engineering mile stones.
Lead and attend design and safety reviews.
Initiate value engineering and best practice
Estimate Project prices.
Produces Take-offs from Tender drawings.
Prepare quotes for customers to reflect the products we plan to supply to contract.
Ensure product and scope of works from the quotation meets with the customer requirements.
Track project forecasting.
Minimum of 5+ years relevant professional experience and a strong track record in the management of detailed engineering activities.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, E-Plan
Engineering degree or equivalnet
