**Company overview**:
Tungsten West plc is a mining development company focussed on the restarting of the world-class Hemerdon Tungsten-Tin mine located in South Devon, UK. The Company is the 100% owner of the previously producing Hemerdon mine, which is currently the 3rd largest tungsten resource in the world. With demand for strategic metals, including tungsten and tin, increasing rapidly due to their critical use in new technology, Tungsten West is focussed on meeting this demand by restarting production at Hemerdon in the next 12 months.

Join the team working on the mine re-start, being an integral member throughout the project re-build, commissioning/ramp-up and into production.

**Job purpose**:
Tungsten West are seeking a part-time HR Advisor, reporting to the HR Director, working to support, guide and advise our people on all employee relations matters. The role will require the HR Advisor to focus on developing and managing all employee relations and people management related policies and procedures and ensuring they are applied consistently, fairly and timely.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the HR team to ensure a positive and approachable service for our people;
- Support, manage and advise on all HR and people management related matters for the company;
- Support and coordinate recruitment at all levels, drafting and reviewing job descriptions, interviewing and issuing of contracts, advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies;
- Assisting with and developing recruitment campaigns when required;
- Coordinating the appointment process for successful applicants, working with the HR Director to ensure our compliance with relevant legislation and right to work checks;
- Monitoring key recruitment and people metrics, such as turnover and retention rates;
- Working with the senior management and HR Director to provide advice and expertise on company processes and strategic changes that impact our people - change management;
- Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data, building processes and reports relevant to the needs of each team;
- Responsible for managing and coordinating performance management processes and methods;
- Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and processes ensuring these are in line with current legislation and relevant to the company culture and all relevant company wide processes;
- Supporting on employee relations matters including, capability investigations, grievance, absence management and disciplinary process;
**Skills & Qualifications**:
**Essentials**:

- 2-3 years experience in a similar industry
- 3-5 years of experience in an similar HR Role
- Degree educated
- CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience
- Experience of working with HRIS
