About the role

The role of a Housing Officer is to deliver a high-quality housing management service/support across Certitude, which includes over 160 locations in multiple boroughs and to ensure that a high-quality property and tenancy management service is delivered across all locations, supporting the Managers in executing housing management functions in line with management agreements and service level agreements.

**Duties will include**:
Ensuring that Certitude staff and RPs are performing within the terms and conditions of the Management Agreements and Service Level Agreements.
Undertaking quarterly property inspection of Registered Care Homes, Supported Living Services and Other Contract Services with the site-based teams.
Supporting the operation teams in escalating repairs and maintenance accordingly to the RPs in line with the procedures and following up until the desired outcome is achieved.
Being responsible for all aspects of rent recovery process and appropriate action in their patch.
Supporting operational teams as well as hands on in managing effective turnaround of voids in accordance with the Certitude’s policies or based on contractual agreements with housing Registered Provider partners including void inspections and liaison with relevant Maintenance Team’s to ensure works are completed before properties are let, to minimise rental losses.

About you

To be a Housing Officer at Certitude, the following are essential:
Housing rental income and arrears control processes, rent collection databases/systems, dealing with HB/DWP/UC office on rent issues.
Managing tenancy breaches, ASB and all areas of court procedures.
Delivering a high-quality housing management support in the Housing Sector.
Good all-round knowledge of tenancy management, management Agreement and Service Level Agreement and leading on them.
Developing/building a strong positive relationships and network with both internal and externally stakeholders/ colleagues.
