Despatch Administration Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a Despatch Administration Assistant to join the RMS Ports group of companies based at our Trent Ports site in Flixborough, near Scunthorpe. The role is full time and is based on a 5-day working week although flexibility will be required to cover busy periods and holidays.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
Working as a Despatch Administration Assistant you will:
- Accurately produce loading tickets and delivery notes
- Maintain and produce accurate stock and despatch reports as per customer requirements
- Reconcile proof of delivery documents
- Be initial point of contact for customers with regards stock related issues
- Ensure swift turnround of vehicles on the weighbridge, ensuring drivers are sent to the correct place for loading/unloading
- Be prepared to provide support for additional roles within the despatch office as and when necessary (with appropriate guidance & support provided).
**Skills, qualifications and other attributes**
- Attention to detail, an inquisitive nature and accuracy of processing are all key attributes required for the role.
- Excellent organisational and administration skills.
- Must be comfortable with the use of technology and be ready to adapt and embrace new developments as they occur.
- Previous experience of working with stocks and relevant systems preferred but not essential as full training will be given
- Ability to collaborate well with others, but also work independently when required.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
