**Part-time Legal Secretary / Receptionist - Criminal** Location: Salisbury**

Hours: Part-time - 2 days per week, 9am till 5pm, ideally Monday and Tuesday but days are flexible

**Salary**: Circa £21k pro rata

My client, a well-established and highly respected law firm are recruiting for a part-time Secretary to join their Salisbury office for two days per week. The role will include:
- Acting as Legal Secretary for the Criminal fee earner.
- Running the reception area of the office, including answering telephones, taking messages and dealing with clients who attend the office.
- Running the office diary.
- Ensuring the server is backed up daily.
- File opening and closing. Post distribution. Entering time recording on the firm’s systems for fee earners where required.
- IT skills including Word, Window, Microsoft Office, Excel, Oyez Legal Forms.
- Other duties as laid out in the Office Manual.
- To work with individual fee earners as required.
- To report to the Partners.

Skills and experience required:

- Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary in Criminal law.
- Good keyboard skills.
- Good communication skills.
- An ability to organise and prioritise.
- Good literacy skills.
- An ability to work unsupervised, under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- A thorough knowledge of Windows, Word, Microsoft Office, Excel.
- Excellent telephone manner, sense of humour and patience are essential.
