We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Assistant to join our team and play an integral role in supporting our marketing and student recruitment activities in the School of Computing and Engineering.

The University of Huddersfield is an award winning, successful, and modern University. The School of Computing and Engineering is part of that, and we pride ourselves on having a research-intensive learning environment. We are immensely proud of our graduates, many of whom come from our region and go on to work with top engineering, technology, and computing companies across the UK and beyond.

If your background is in marketing or events support and you have an enthusiasm for customer service, this will be an ideal opportunity for you.

Here are some of the things, you’ll be assisting with:

- Inputting and editing school web content.
- Production of content, for a variety of marketing and communications assets.
- Supporting and delivering school events, for example Open Days, applicant visit days, graduation, Discover lectures.
- Working on social media, undertaking photography and filming to share news/events.
- Supporting internal communications through, internal web content for student newsletters, digests, notifications, and bulletins.

You will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent and have excellent communication skills.
