- Responsible for the site’s monthly, quarterly and annual sustainability reporting requirements, which encompasses energy, greenhouse gases, water and effluent.
- Undertake requisite activities to maintain professional relationships with external regulators and verifiers such as the EA.
- Responsible for compliance with the relevant regulations currently in force, ensuring that the site is prepared for any changes or new regulations.
- Management of the disposal inventory, including arranging collections and working with the Effluent Plant Manager to manage what can be treated via the Effluent Plant.

- Responsible for the accurate maintenance of the Waste Management Database and associated compliance records to satisfy all legal requirements.

To be successful in this hands-on position as an Environmental and Waste Advisor, holding relevant and extensive experience and knowledge in Environmental management and regulations, including ISO14001 would be deemed essential. Educated to degree level in Chemistry, Biology, Env Sciences, or any variation therein would be beneficial to accompany 5 - 15 years’ active experience in a closely related field. If this experience is to include knowledge of MCerts compliance then this would be ideal.
