**Job Purpose**

As the Manufacturing Planner at Olmec you will assume overall responsibility for the supply chain within Olmec and ultimately to our customers. You will develop production schedules which you will live and breathe on a daily, weekly and project by project basis; in order to ensure that all customer deadlines are met.

This is a full-time, on-site role within our Projects Team which offers exposure to a wide variety of industries including Pharmaceutical & Healthcare, Automotive and Food & beverage.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- Collaboratively plan and schedule production and assembly of components to meet customer deadlines within the MRP system (Factory Master)
- Responsible for creating works orders and their timely planning
- Management of raw material stock daily & checking purchased items delivery times do not impact the projects, sourcing and purchasing alternative parts as necessary
- Updating plans for BOM (Bill of Material) releases and importing BOMs
- Creation of manufacturing routings, and post manufacture updates to ensure accurate planned operation timings v actual
- Check daily shop floor data capture information is accurate
- Check CNC schedule adherence daily, liaise with the team on any issues and adjust plans to include spares for customers, reworks, and priorities
- Support CNC or build team in daily production operations, as required, to meet targets
- Process finished CNC manufactured parts to the next operation and received goods within the MRP system and workplace
- Responsible for kitting of assembly components, ensuring weekly and daily kits are complete and available in line with plans
- Update weekly the main project plans for CNC manufactured parts, workshop assemblies and delivery of purchased items
- Highlight and escalate any issues which could impact the production plan and proactively seek an appropriate resolution
- Attend training and relevant conferences and develop professional knowledge
- Provide mentoring and training to members of the team
- Form co-operative and respectful working relationships with colleagues

**KEY SKILLS**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of production and/or CNC environments, in a planning role
- Strong data analytical skills
- Advanced user of MRP software packages such as FactoryMaster and Microsoft Project and Excel
- Clear communicator with the ability to form strong relationships with colleagues and deliver news appropriately whether good or bad
- Able to develop trust and motivate others
- Lives and breathes the supply chain and is passionate about meeting manufacturing deadlines
- Rigorous documentation skills, knowledge of ISO 9001 an advantage
- Able to offer solutions to overcome problems
