**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

We are looking for General Operatives to join our #WeAreMcCain family.

It would be your role to ensure our products are packed to company standard which includes:

- Making sure our Fries To Go are packed in their tray
- Packing products into boxes
- Product inspection
- Making sure our machines are working at optimum levels with no blockages
- General housekeeping

All whilst maintaining high quality, hygiene, maximum production, and a high level of safety - our number one priority here at McCain.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

You might have never worked in a food manufacturing environment before, and that’s OK We’re quick learners here at McCain, so we can teach you everything you need to know.

However, we are looking for someone who can really make a difference to our plant, who brings experience of working in a team, the ability to work closely with their manager, and who has a real ability to bring people along a change journey with them.

You must also have
- A keen eye for continuous improvement and who will strive to find areas to enhance our line operations within our plant.
- The ability to work at pace, without jeopardising quality and standards.
- A team player who can play towards creating our winning culture.
- A passion for quality with an eye for detail.

**WHERE WILL I WORK?**

You’ll be based at our Grantham plant in Lincolnshire along with a team of approx. 130 other colleagues. You might not know, but here at McCain we also produce a range of fries called ‘Fries to Go’ - they’re made from mashed potato, are encased in their own special crisping compartment, and can be cooked in a microwave in just over 2 minutes - we are all about convenience at McCain
