**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and process a variety of meats, including beef, poultry, and lamb, according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Cut, trim, and debone meats into desired portions, ensuring accurate weights and sizes.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the butchery area, including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
- Receive, inspect, and store meat products, ensuring proper temperature control and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist customers with their meat selections, providing guidance on cuts, and portion sizes.
- Fulfill customer orders efficiently, accurately weighing and packaging meats for purchase.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or quality issues to the management.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new product offerings and promotions.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and regulations related to meat processing.

Required Experience and Skills:

- Proven experience working as a butcher or meat cutter in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of different cuts of meat, their characteristics, and proper preparation techniques.
- Proficiency in using butchery tools and equipment, such as knives, saws, and grinders.
- Understanding of food safety standards and regulations, including HACCP principles.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in cutting and portioning meat.
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and provide knowledgeable assistance to customers.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work in varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per business requirements.
