**Service Assistant **(Job Share)

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our customer-facing service department as a Service assistant in a full-time job share capacity. This unique opportunity comes with in-house training to ensure you excel in your role and provide exceptional service to our valued customers.

As a Service Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
**Customer Interaction**: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon their arrival to our Service showroom and direct them appropriatly. Provide refreshments if required. Engage with customers over the phone, provide information, updates, and answers to queries regarding work progress, repairs, and service-related matters.

**Admin Support**:Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and maintaining accurate records related to customer interactions and service transactions on our CRM database.

**Work Progress Updates**: Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicle and keep customers informed and address any concerns they may have.

**Service Advisor Support**: Collaborate with service advisors to ensure smooth coordination of customer appointments, follow-ups, and any required documentation. Assist with scheduling and rescheduling as needed.

**Phone Handling**: Handle incoming phone calls from customers and provide initial assistance. Redirect calls to the appropriate department or staff member as necessary.

**Front of House**:You will ensure that the service showroom is a warm and welcoming environment.

**Qualities**:

- Friendly and professional.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Prior experience with CRM systems or customer service/administrative roles is a plus but not essential as full training is provided.
