There is an exciting opportunity for 2 podiatrists to join the friendly community Oldham Podiatry Team. Domiciliary visits are provided with a strict access criteria. The team is innovative and always striving to improve the service and our patients feedback is extremely important.

The team offers a person-centred approach to improve patients independence and wellbeing and go the extra mile to ensure compassionate and personalised patient care. In return you will join a supportive team environment and be provided with many personal development opportunities.

**Main duties of the job**:

- Have your own caseload both clinical and domiciliary with peer support from a mixed skillset in the team.
- Maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out podiatry procedures
- Have good communication skills with patients carers and colleagues and other healthcare professionals and support patient in getting better health outcomes
- Rotate into different clinical pathways for variation once familiarised with systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance in clinical governance framework.
- Ensure compliance in mandatory and CPD training
- Partake in appraisal with your line manager with realistic yearly objectives for yourself

- State registered podiatry diploma or degree equivalent in podiatry
- Certificate local anaesthetic

**Desirable criteria**:

- Experience of working within the NHS
- Good IT skills with working knowledge microsoft office or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and liase with wide range of people in professional manner
- Organisation and time management skills
- Evidence of professional development in professional field
- Understanding of health and social care landscape in Greater Manchester
- Willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge and undertake further training
- Ability to coordinate and organise work short,medium and longterm basis
