Accounts / Administration Assistant
We are looking for an accounts / admin assistant to work in our busy Rainham (Essex) office.
Duties will include working within both our finance and sales administration departments so flexibility and a ‘Can Do’ attitude is essential.
Some of the duties that this role will cover are:
- Chasing customers for payment
- Posting bank payments and matching invoices against payments
- Cheque banking
- Posting of expenses
- Raising sales invoices
- Posting of purchase ledger invoices
- Answering the telephone and dealing with customer queries
- Sales order processing
- Photocopying and filing
- Other accounting and admin duties
- General Office duties
We will consider a trainee / first job role for the right person
Although full training will be given a good standard of English, Maths and a good clear telephone manner will be required.
We are offering a salary of between £18K and £23K depending upon age, experience and qualifications.
Benefits are 25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays, free on-site parking and company pension once eligible.
Hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3pm on Friday with an half hour lunch.
