Supporting the financial operations of the group, your duties will be primarily involved with Credit Control, Purchase Ledger and supporting the group with general accounts functions.

Key Responsibilities of Group Finance Assistant (but not limited to):
Ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresSupport the budgeting process by providing relevant financial informationWork closely with other departments to gather financial informationAssist in the preparation for auditsProvide transactional support to the Group Financial ControllerComplete sales ledger and purchase ledger for the groupSupport the finance team to implement improvementsBe involved in standardisation across the GroupUndertake the chasing of all Company debt, including issuing any final and solicitors letters. Liaising with other internal Departments to sort out any invoice queries that arise.Input Supplier invoices onto Sage Line 50 Accounts and prepare them for monthly Supplier payment runGeneral administration duties relevant to your position including data entry and responding to emails and telephone calls.

Ability to adapt to change with a flexible approach to workExperience working in financeStrong purchase ledger and Sales ledger experienceGreat communication skillsThe ability to take ownership of a process
