Have you got prior experience supporting a business with IT support queries? We have a client based on the outskirts of Thirsk with over 400 employees who are now on the hunt for a **1st Line IT Support Executive.** You will work with a wide variety of users over 3 sites aiming to resolve their technical issues as efficiently as possible.

Duties as **1st Line IT Support Executive** will include:

- Hand hold all users taking them through the required stages to resolve the issue.
- Escalate issues where needed to the relevant team members.
- Work off a ticketing system, ensuring that all actions have been logged.
- Progress all required actions promptly and accurately.
- Support the IT Manager and wider support team to ensure any recurring technical issues are addressed.
- Support in highlighting any training or documentation requirements.
- Carrying out daily checks on infrastructure systems and system audits.
- Support in the undertaking of IT projects as instructed by the IT Manager.
- Continuously improve knowledge and understanding across the various software and hardware technologies supported by the team.

We are seeking:

- Prior IT Support/ Helpdesk experience
- Previous experience supporting users on Windows Desktop Platforms
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Confident presenter of information and instructions
- Practical and logical mindset to all workload
- Ability to remain confidential in all working practices
- Full driving licence essential

Our client is looking to reward the successful 1st Line IT Support Executive with an annual salary ranging between £22,000 - £28,000 depending on experience, plus other company benefits. An immediate start is available for the ideal applicant.
