My client, a highly esteemed food manufacturing PLC situated in Knaresborough, is searching for Transport Manager. **The role**
Reporting to the Team Manager, you will support the Team Manager with daily duties and cover for the Team Manager in their absence. You will use trained skills to complete all tasks assigned by a member of the management team, ensuring quality and food safe products are produced for the customer. Typically operate in 1 area but support other areas as and when required, complete auditing, line folder creation/maintenance which includes troubleshooting guides, cleaning standard visuals and machine settings and ensure that paperwork is completed for traceability and yield tracking.
**The person**
You will have experience in running a lines, have the ability to challenge decisions and behaviours to ensure consistency in service to my clients customers, and will demonstrate your ability to problem solve, have a proven track record of supervising a team and delivering strong results through a team in a people supervisor role, excellent communication skills, able to make on the spot decisions and be very much a people person.
