The Exams & Quality Assurance Assistant will be required to complete a broad range of administrative tasks to support the Adult Education Quality Assurance Officer and Quality Coordinator, contributing to the efficiency of the exams department and in support of quality monitoring and improvement. Entering exam registrations, administering exam concession requests, are all integral to this role and will ensure a variety of work which is also on occasion deadline driven.

Accuracy, time management skills and an ability to prioritise your workload and work to deadlines is highly important. Also the ability to communicate with professionalism and courtesy as you will be required to interface with colleagues throughout the Service at all levels, with sub-contractors and with external agencies in relation to the day to day administration of examinations and quality procedures.

Cornwall Adult Education is a community-based organisation maintained, although not funded, by Cornwall Council.

The position will have an office base of Chy Trevail in Bodmin. However, working from home is actively supported and could be accommodated on a part-time or full-time basis.

Whilst the location/work-base for this role has been specified our evolving ways of working means that the role may require you to also work remotely.(e.g. from home/other locations). We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.
