Play Worker

Experience of work/play with children of primary age.
Willingness to undertake traning in playwork skills.
Interest in the play and emotional needs of children aged between 4 & 11 years of age.
Awareness of what constitutes 'good quality childcare'.
Interest in planning play, arts & crafts and sports activities for children of primary age.
Awareness of EYFS frameworkand recognition of children's achievements,
Commitment to working within an equal opportunity's framework.
Ability to provide warm and consistant care to all children attending the setting.
Ability to understand and meet children's needs, including those of children with additional needs.
Understanding of Health & Safety issues that affect the day to day running of childcare services.
Experience of working as part of a team.
Good physical & emotional health and the ability to work under own initiative.
Sense of Humour.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
Expected hours: 23.75 per week
