As a small local business, we are passionate about our ice cream & desserts and are looking for a team member who can deliver the perfect beverage to accompany them.

We are an easy-going and friendly outfit and looking for like-minded people to join our team and grow the business. We are on the hunt for high energy, positive people who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service at all times. We are currently searching for additional team members to cover at least one evening shift (3-7pm) during the week and at least one weekend shift at our coffee shop in the upper Blue Mall. The role is for approximately 16 hours a week and, as mentioned, includes weekend work Previous experience is favourable for this position but not essential.

**3pm until 7pm at least one evening a week (Monday to Friday)**

**4 hours on a Saturday from 3pm until 7pm**

**6 hours on a Sunday from 11am until 5pm every other week.**

Responsibilities include:

- Providing quality beverages to customers with a smile.
- Serving ice cream and other desserts with a keen eye for detail.
- Working as a team to ensure a “first class” customer experience.
- Maintaining hygiene/traceability records and overall store cleanliness.

This is a dynamic role which will require you to work a range of jobs from serving food and drinks, taking orders on the EPOS system, pot washing, cleaning tables and replenishing stock.

**Salary**: Meets NMW.

Beckleberrys are a family-owned small local business with a coffee shop located in the MetroCentre. This our first retail outlet and as such a flagship store which is proud to provide ice cream and patisserie all handmade by our team of chefs in Blaydon on Tyne.
